The idea came to me after seeing some of the big name designer’s collections, such as Saint Laurent, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana, on the spring/summer 2022 runways. “As the blazer is a standard piece in its own right, it is worn directly on the skin. Introducing... The Blazet
This piece I designed is for the woman unafraid to wear a beautifully unique garment anywhere her day takes her. Whether it’s back-to-back meetings, dinner dates, or happy-hour with the girls, this is the corset you need to power through your day! The inspiration for the name is exactly what it sounds like – ½ blazer + ½ corset. I took elements from a classic blazer and added my own innovative corset to it.
Beautifully Unique
Introducing... The Blazet
The blazer side of this garment is fully lined, has a functioning pocket and a 3- button closure at the hemline of the sleeve. The corset has all of the properties I normally use in all of my corsets, including metal boning, waist tape and grommets at the back for lacing-up.
